Nkapio applies tax to your invoices and quotes automatically once you’ve defined your rates. Set them up once and every sale calculates the right total, in your business currency.
Step 1 — Open the taxes list
Click Taxes in settings. Each tax shows its name, rate and whether it’s active. You can keep several rates — for example a standard VAT rate and a zero rate for exempt items.
Step 2 — Add a tax rate
Click New tax. Give it a clear name, enter the percentage, and choose whether it applies by default. Save it — the rate is now available to pick on line items across invoices and quotes.
Tip: your business currency is set in Business settings — all amounts across Nkapio display in that currency, so set it before your first sale.
