A quote lets you price a job before any money changes hands. In Nkapio you build it like an invoice, send it to the client, and convert it into a real invoice the moment they say yes.
Step 1 — Open the quotes list
Click Quotes in the sidebar. Every quote shows its number, client, total and status — draft, sent, accepted or declined. Filter by status or client to find the one you need.
Step 2 — Read a quote
Click a row to open the quote. You see the header with your company details, the priced line items, taxes and totals — exactly how the client will see it.
Step 3 — Create a new quote
Click New quote. Pick the client, add services or products as line items, adjust quantities and prices, and set an expiry date. Save it as a draft or send it straight away.
Step 4 — Convert an accepted quote
Once the client accepts, open the quote and convert it to an invoice. All the line items, prices and taxes carry over, so you never re-key anything.
Tip: an expired quote can be duplicated and re-sent with fresh prices — no need to start from scratch.
